Before starting a therapeutic process or when there are more complex emotional, behavioral or relational difficulties, a psychological assessment can be an essential first step. This helps us to understand more clearly what is happening "beyond the symptoms" and together to outline a plan suitable for your needs.
Who is it addressed to?
Clinical evaluation is right for you if:
You experience persistent states of anxiety, sadness, irritability, or emotional fatigue
You have difficulty in relationships, at work, or making important decisions
You feel like "something's wrong," but you can't quite put your finger on what.
You have received a recommendation from a psychiatrist, family doctor or other specialist for a psychological evaluation
You are looking for a clear clinical diagnosis (e.g. depression, anxiety disorder, ADHD, etc.)
What does a psychological evaluation involve?
The evaluation process may include:
Clinical interviews (in which we explore together your personal history and current symptoms)
Scientifically validated psychological questionnaires and tests, adapted to your specific need
Clinical observation and integrated analysis of the information obtained
The number of sessions varies depending on the complexity of the situation — usually between 1 and 3 meetings.
What benefits can it bring you?
get clarity on your emotional and mental state
You get a professional and objective opinion
You have a solid basis for deciding whether and what type of psychological or medical intervention is right for you
If applicable, you can receive a written psychological report, useful for other specializations (psychiatry, occupational medicine, medical commissions, etc.)
